Intellectual Property Rights
1. The whole of the website and its components are protected by Philippine and International law on intellectual and industrial property rights.
2. The intellectual property rights of the website contents belong to the Philippine Association for Sport and Exercise Science, except for those of companies with which a corresponding contract has been signed for providing content which are protected by intellectual and industrial norms.
3. The exercise of the rights of reproduction, distribution, public communication and transformation of contents is exclusive to the PHASES, without prejudice to the exercise by third parties of the right to quote.
4. The user accessing this website may not copy, modify, distribute, transmit, reproduce, publish, yield, sell the elements previously mentioned or create new products or services derived from the obtained information without expressly quoting its source.
Philippine Association for Sport and Exercise Science Conflict of Interest Policy
Philippine Association for Sport and Exercise Sciences, its Affiliates and Constituents, and all Officers, Directors, and Committee members meticulously shall avoid any conflict among their particular individual, professional or entrepreneurial interests and the interests of the Association, in any and all actions taken by them on behalf of the Association in their respective capacities.
If a situation arises in which any Officer, Director, Council or Committee member of the Association has any interest- direct or indirect, or association with, any entity that proposes to enter into any transaction with the Association, encompassing but not limited to transactions involving:
a. the sale, purchase, lease or rental of any property or other asset; b. employment, or rendition of services, personal or otherwise; c. the award of any grant, contract, or subcontract; d. the investment or deposit of any funds of the Association;
such person shall give notice of such interest or relationship and shall thereafter refrain from discussing or voting on the particular transaction in which he has an interest, or otherwise attempting to exert any influence on the Association, or its components to affect a decision to participate or not participate in such transaction.
